### What is folk?

Folk is a personal AI teammate that lives where you already chat. iMessage, Telegram, and WhatsApp today, with more channels rolling out. Text it, and it gets things done. It has its own computer, schedules itself, and remembers what you talked about months ago.

### What can folk actually do?

Folk ships with skills for coding, research, web browsing, reminders, and scheduling. You can teach it new tricks by connecting any tool that speaks MCP (Model Context Protocol): your own APIs, databases, internal tools, anything.

### How do I talk to folk?

After you sign up and subscribe, you'll get a phone number to text from iMessage, plus Telegram and WhatsApp you can connect from your dashboard. Discord and other platforms are rolling out next.

### Do you train on my data?

No. We don't and never will train models on your data. Your conversations and memory are yours.

### Where does my folk run?

Every folk runs in its own isolated sandbox with its own credentials. Nothing is shared between users. Your API keys, integrations, and conversation history never leave your folk's environment.

### How do I delete my account?

Go to your dashboard, open settings, privacy, delete my account. That cancels your subscription immediately and permanently removes your account, conversations, and memory. It can't be undone.

### What integrations work today?

Folk ships with built-in skills for coding, research, browsing, reminders, and scheduling. You can plug in anything that speaks MCP: Notion, Linear, GitHub, Postgres, your own internal tools.

### Can I bring my own API keys or models?

Yes. Folk runs your own Anthropic, OpenAI, or OpenRouter keys if you prefer, kept inside your sandbox, never shared.

### How does pricing work?

Folk Pro is $20/month and Folk Max is $100/month, flat. Payments are handled by Stripe. You can manage your card, see invoices, or cancel from settings.

### Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel from settings, billing, manage on Stripe. You keep access until the end of the current billing period.
