folk knows where "near me" is from your shared location, and can give you directions, distances, and travel times.

folk pulls a real forecast, including any alerts.
detailed forecasts are us-only for now. folk will still give you the gist elsewhere, just with less local detail.
let folk know where you are
folk is sharpest when it knows where you are. the best way is to share your live location in telegram — share once and folk keeps up as you move, so "near me" just works (and it can remind you of things at the right place and check in when it's useful).
on imessage, paste an apple maps link when you want folk to know about a specific spot, or just tell it your neighborhood.
