folk

research

send folk off to do real, deep research and come back with a ranked, shareable shortlist.

sometimes you don't want a quick answer — you want folk to actually go dig. that's what /research is for. folk spends real time (think a minute or so, not a second) looking into something properly, then comes back with a ranked shortlist on its own page, not a wall of text in your chat.

/research

find me a great barber for a fade near soho

what you get back

a clean, ranked page — something like getfolk.app/r/your-report — with the top options, why each one made the cut, and the details that matter. open it, keep it, share it.

research runs take a bit longer than a normal reply because folk is doing the legwork. it'll let you know it's on it and ping you when the report's ready.

what it covers today

research is rolling out one area at a time. right now it's focused on haircuts / barbers — finding you a genuinely good spot near you.

if you ask it to research something it doesn't cover yet, folk will tell you straight rather than guess. more areas are on the way.

want a quick answer instead?

for something fast and simple, just ask folk normally — "what's a good sushi place open right now near me?" — and skip /research. save research for when you want the deep, ranked version.
